Library of the Chair of South Asian Studies (Indian Studies)
The Library of the Chair of South Asian Studies is part of the Library of the Faculty of Asian and African Cultures at the University of Warsaw. It specialises in Asian collections in the field of Indian Studies, covering disciplines such as:

The library holds over 23,000 volumes, including:
- Books, offprints, journals
- Master's, bachelor's, and doctoral theses
- Microfilms, audio cassettes, CDs
- Photocopies
Special collections of prominent Indologists and Buddhologists:
- C. Régamey – 177 volumes
- A. Gawroński – 600 volumes
- E. Słuszkiewicz – 1,339 volumes
- L. Sternbach – 157 volumes
- G. Grocholski – 157 volumes
The library also houses a Tamil collection (1,334 volumes), donated by the University and State Library of Saxony-Anhalt in Halle (Saale).

Books can be ordered via email or telephone.
- Borrowing rights are granted to University of Warsaw students, doctoral candidates, and staff.
- Other UW students must present an interlibrary loan form.
- External users may use the materials on-site in the reading room.
