The following requirements must be met in order to proceed with the diploma thesis defense:
- Obtain passing grades in all courses listed in the USOS system. It is important to note that the grade for the final semester of the diploma seminar can only be issued after the complete diploma thesis has been submitted.
- Return all borrowed books to the University Library (BUW) as well as to faculty and departmental libraries. Confirmation of this is obtained by collecting the appropriate stamps on the clearance form, which must then be submitted to the student affairs office in the dean’s office.
- Submit the thesis in digital form to the Archive of Diploma Theses (APD).
- Once two reviews of the diploma thesis (from the supervisor and the reviewer) have been submitted in the APD system, its status will change to "ready for defense."
